Committed with conservation and sustainable practice, Tambo Blanquillo Private Nature Reserve was founded in July 1988 after Luis Felipe Raffo Canepa, turism pioneer, was conceded 400 hectare concesion of pristine rainforest for tourism and conservation activities.
Location
Located at shores of Madre de Dios River in the buffer zone of Manu National Park, Tambo Blanquillo has hosted more than 25,000 guests from all over the world. How to get there
Visitors to the park can hike through pristine wilderness areas, go fishing in crystal-clear streams, camp in the shadow of towering peaks, and even catch a glimpse of rare and endangered species like the Napar lynx or the black-footed ferret. And through it all, they are reminded of the importance of protecting our natural heritage for generations to come.
