San Blas is one of the most charming and authentic neighborhoods in Cusco. Known as the cradle of Cusqueñan artists, this picturesque district preserves a bohemian and creative atmosphere that sets it apart from the rest of the city.

We stroll through its narrow cobblestone streets, surrounded by whitewashed houses with colonial balconies, small artisan workshops, and galleries where master sculptors, painters, and ceramic artists still work today. Every corner conveys history and artistic sensitivity.

In this inspiring setting, we participate in a relaxing painting workshop where we decorate our own Torito de Pucará. This traditional ceramic bull is an Andean symbol of prosperity, protection, good fortune, and hard work. According to tradition, the bulls are placed on rooftops as a blessing for a new home and as a wish for abundance and family harmony.

As we paint, we connect with the symbolism behind each color and design, allowing creativity to flow in a calm and meaningful experience.

More than an artistic activity, it is a moment to slow down, connect with local culture, and take home a piece created by ourselves — filled with intention and memory.Ideal for: travelers seeking a cultural, creative, and relaxing experience in one of Cusco’s most charming neighborhoods.
